Xythos Drive DocumentationUse Xythos Drive to connect, or map, a network drive to a folder on a WebDAV
server, effectively turning
the Internet into a secure, shared virtual hard drive. The Xythos network drive behaves exactly like a
Windows network drive, except that it uses HTTP and WebDAV* protocols. This
permits any Windows program to open and edit documents stored on a web server as
easily as if they were on your computer. When editing a document from within a Microsoft Office application,
you may not rename or delete a file in the "Save As" window. If you would like to rename or delete a file, do so as you would any other file on your computer. These pages provide help on the various features available within the Xythos Drive. Use the navigation menu on the left to find the page you are looking for. The Quick Start pages provide step-by-step instructions on commonly used features. The Personalizing pages help you to fine tune Xythos Drive to meet your needs. This section describes the features and options in detail. The pages are arranged to correspond to the tabs in the user interface to make it easy to find what you are looking for.
We hope that you find the answers to your questions within these pages. If you care to leave us feedback and suggestions for how we can improve these pages, please send it to the contact information posted at the bottom of each page.
